Group Walks/Plays

We gather a small group of like-minded, similarly sized dogs and go for either a group walk or we go to a client’s securely fenced yard and we play. This is 30 minutes of exercise time plus travel time in the car where we critique other people’s driving, listen to true crime or reality tv recap podcasts and Whitney Houston.

$24 for one dog. Additional dog from the same household is $11. Late cancellation fee (less than 24hrs) is $24. Walks on statutory holidays will be charged an additional $15 surcharge.

Boarding

I board dogs at my hobby farm when you go away. We are talking about in my home, in my bed boarding - not a boarding facility. Your dog must be fantastic with or ambivalent to cats and same with dogs. They must not be destructive (they break it, you buy it) or big time barkers. Your dogs will be sleeping in my bed (unless you request a kennel) so good spooning technique is encouraged. Because they are allowed on the bed and couch like any human child, please send a clean(ish) dog. No stinkers! All new boarders are required to complete a trial overnight before you are able to book so be sure to reach out with plenty of time before your trip to make sure that it’s a good fit for both us and your pup!

What to pack in their overnight bag:

  • kibble and scoop in labelled ziploc bags

  • any medications with clear instructions

  • treats if desired

  • if they eat canned food send a can topper

  • collar with tags, harness and leash

  • we have plenty of bowls, slow feeders, snuffle mats, toys and beds

$70 for one dog overnight. An additional dog from the same household is $30. Shuttle to and from Winnipeg is $20 each way and is at my convenience. You are welcome to schedule a drop off or pick up time from the farm.

Boarding cancellations affect my schedule in a major way. If you book a boarding I require as much notice as possible if you need to cancel for any reason. If your booking is one week long then I need two week’s notice. If your booking is three weeks long then I need six week’s notice. If your booking is two days long then I require four days notice. If you don’t provide this notice and courtesy you will be charged for your full booking.
